History of Sindh Kalhora Period

In the 1960s, the Sindhi Adabi Board embarked on a monumental project to publish a comprehensive nine-volume History of Sindh series. Well known scholars were commissioned for this task. The first volume, Sindh: A General Introduction by Dr. H.T. Lambrick, appearing in 1964. The subsequent volumes included Sindh Before the Muslim Conquest and The Arab Period by Dr. Mumtaz Hussain Pathan, while others remain unpublished. Among these, Maulana Ghulam Rasool Mehr’s History of the Kalhoros, originally written in Urdu and has now been translated into English by the EFT, stands out for its depth on the Kalhora dynasty.
