On 2nd February 2023, the Endowment Fund Trust (EFT) organized a commemorative ceremony at Makli Necropolis to honor Mir Ali Sher Qani, the renowned 18th-century Sindhi historian and author of seminal works like Tohfat ul Kiram, where a newly constructed quadrangular memorial at his tomb was formally opened the presence of Sindh’s Minister of Education & Culture Syed Sardar Ali Shah, scholars, journalists and devotees, celebrating Qani’s immense contributions to Sindhi historiography while demonstrating EFT’s ongoing commitment to preserving the province’s intellectual heritage through such memorial initiatives that bridge historical legacy with contemporary recognition.
