The Endowment Fund Trust (EFT) and Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, proudly hosted the English translation launch of Gul Hassan Kalmati’s seminal work, Karachi: Glory of the East, on 3 February 2023. Presided over by Hameed S. Haroon, Managing Trustee of EFT, the event featured distinguished speakers including Arif Hasan, Fahim Uzzaman Khan, Dr. Kaleemullah Lashari, Zulfiqar Kalhoro, and translator Dr. Amjad Siraj Memon. This collaboration celebrated Karachi’s rich heritage through Kalmati’s authoritative account, reinforcing EFT’s mission to preserve and promote Sindh’s cultural legacy through scholarly works and public engagement.
