Mr. Jahangir Siddiqui

Is a Pakistani businessman and founder of Jahangir Siddiqui & Co. and JS Bank.

On May 15, 1962, with the support of his family, Siddiqui became a local distributor of ice cream and Coca-Cola. In 1966, he completed a bachelor's degree in commerce, and began training as a chartered accountant in 1967. His interest in stock markets eventually led him to start his own company in October 1971. In 1971, Siddiqui founded Jahangir Siddiqui & Co. Ltd, which by growth and acquisition eventually became the JS Group of companies. Siddiqui and his wife Mahvash went on to found the Mahvash & Jahangir Siddiqui Foundation, a charitable, non-profit organization focusing on healthcare, education, sustainable development through social enterprise and emergency relief in Pakistan

He dedicates a significant amount of time and wealth to philanthropic activities. Education, he believes is the key imperative behind attainment of any developmental objectives for a country. His affiliations are reflective of this and include representation on the Boards of; Endowment Fund for the Education Department, Government of Sindh, Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Sukkur Institute of Business Administration and the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore. As Chairman of the Board of Trustees Endowment Fund Trust for Preservation of the Heritage of Sindh, Government of Sindh, he is articulating an agenda which is committed to modern growth but ensuring that this is derived from and a function of tradition.

Mazhar ul Haq Siddiqui

is currently the Chairman at Hum Network Ltd.and Chairman at Sindh Madressatul Islam University. He has formerly served as Chairman at Jahangir Siddiqui & Co. Ltd., National Insurance Co. Ltd.(Pakistan), and Vice Chancellor at the University of Sindh from 2001 to 2008 and from 1984 to 1988. He has also held positions as Director at JS Value Fund Ltd., Non-Executive Director at JS Bank Ltd., and Non-Executive Director at JS Investments Ltd. Additionally, he has worked as a Member at the Federal Public Service Commission. Mr. Siddiqui completed his graduate degree from Quaid-i-Azam University.

Mr. Siddiqui is one of Pakistan’s senior most civil servants and an eminent educationist. He has held many senior positions with the Government of Pakistan. He has served in the Tax department in various capacities including the Commissioner of Income Tax. He served the Provincial Governments as Secretary Education, Finance and Service and General Administration Departments.

He has served the Federal Government as Secretary Establishment, Economic Affairs, Education, Management Services, Economic Affairs Statistics and Youth Affairs Divisions. He also served as Vice Chancellor of Sindh University during 1984 – 88 and 2001-2008. He also held the positions of Chairman, National Insurance Corporation and Member, Federal Public Services Commission.

He is the Chairman of Sindh Madrasah Board and Quaid-e-Azam Public School. He is also a permanent member of Search Committee for Vice Chancellors, Registrar, Finance Directors and Controllers of Examination of all Public Sector Universities in Sindh

Ghulam Sarwer Khero

holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science (Honors-1968) and a Bachelor’s degree in Law (1970) from University of Sindh. He has served the Public of the Government of Sindh as Chief Secretary Sindh, Additional Chief Secretary (Development) P&D, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture, Irrigation & Power Departments, Secretary Services, General Administration & Coordination Department (SGA & CD), Member, Sindh Service Tribunal, Secretary, Labour and Transport Department, Secretary, Food & Cooperation Department, Chairman, Sindh Sugar Corporation Limited, Director General Malir Development Authority, Karachi, Secretary to Governor of Sindh, Additional Secretary- Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Karachi, Deputy Secretary- Industries, Commerce and Mineral, Development Department. Except this he has remained Chairman, Board of Directors, Sindh Industrial Trading Estates Ltd (SITE), Karachi, Chairman, Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) Planning & Development department, Chairman-Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), Member-Central Development Working Party (CDWP), Planning Commission, Government of Pakistan; Member- Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC), Cabinet Division, Government of Pakistan, Director- Sindh Rural Support Organization (till date).

He did Management Cadre Training on USAID Rules and Regulations (USAID/RSPN) in 2011 and has attended a number of National and International Conferences and Study Tours. He also worked as Director, Rural Support Program Network. He was Provincial Director, Assessment & Strengthening Programme (USAID funded) and now Coordinator, SUCCESS – RSPN (The E.U funded).

Shahab Ghani

Experienced Architect with a demonstrated history of working as architect , Interior Designer. With Strong professional skills in Sustainable Architecture. Has a penchant for getting involved with the professional community to educate, improve standards of education and professionalism and to prepare and empower the younger generation to take on the challenges in life.

Represented Pakistan as an official delegate of The Institute of Architects, Pakistan (IAP) at the Architects Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) Council Meeting in Bombay in 1985 and in Malaysia in 1986, and held many offices since then. Was Chairman of Karachi Chapter-Institute of Architects, Pakistan in 1982 as well as 1991, and became Honorary Secretary, Institute of Architects, Pakistan, in 1985 and elected National Council Member in 1991 and 2001. Also held an international office in 1991-92 as Honorary Treasurer, Architects Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA). Involvement with the architectural community increased over the years with election to the office of Chairman, Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) from 2005–09

Mr. Shahab Ghani is the trustee for Endowment Fund Trust for Preservation of the Heritage of Sindh (EFT) for the tenure 2018-21 and 2021-24 and more.
