The Endowment Fund Trust – EFT in collaboration with the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, organized the book launch of its publication I Saw Myself – Journeys with Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai by Shabnam Virmani (who joined virtually). Held at Auditorium 1 of the Arts Council, the event commenced at 5:00 p.m. with a keynote address by Faqir Aijazuddin (joining online). The program featured captivating performances of Sassui Roots by Rakhman Gul Palari and Gul Hassan Kalmati, followed by an insightful dialogue between author Shabnam Virmani and Dr. Sahar Gul. Distinguished speakers Ayaz Latif Palejo, Noor-ul-Huda Shah, andDr. Fahmida Hussain enriched the discussion with their perspectives on Bhittai’s enduring legacy. The evening culminated in soulful Sufi music by Manjhi Faqir and Sanam Marvi, creating a fitting tribute to Sindh’s cultural
heritage.
