On November 17, 2022, Mohatta Palace Museum hosted an interdisciplinary talk on Sehwan Sharif’s cultural heritage featuring scholars Dr. Michel Boivin and Dr. Rémy Delage. The event explored Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s devotional traditions through historical, anthropological, and geographical perspectives, drawing from French archaeological missions’ findings since the 1990s. Chairman Jahangir Siddiqui inaugurated the session where researchers presented urban histories, ethnographic data, and ritual patterns, followed by an engaging Q&A. This academic dialogue highlighted Sehwan’s significance as a living Sufi center while showcasing valuable photographic and material evidence of its evolution.
